Going beyond just treating small adult eyes, here is a book designed specifically for pediatric ophthalmologists. Designed to develop the skills of examining and treating children, this book provides an intimate knowledge on areas such as embryology, eye development, genetics, neuro-visual development, amblyopia, etc. Consistent with other volumes of the “Requisites” series, this book also cohesively and poignantly extracts the most important information and presents it in a lucid, easy to comprehend format for the ophthalmologists in practice and training. Some of the more practical aspects covered will include examination techniques, ocular trauma, and communication techniques for breaking the news. It contains a wealth of illustrations supporting the text along with clinical photographs that will facilitate diagnosis through pattern recognition.
