About the Author

Dr Kendra Albright is the Goodyear Endowed Professor in Knowledge Management at Kent State University's School of Information. She previously served as the school's director from 2016 to 2020. She is currently also the Editor-in-Chief of Libri: International Journal of Libraries and Information Services. Her academic journey includes a PhD in Communications, an MS in Library Science, and a BS in Human Development, all from the University of Tennessee. Beyond academia, she has held leadership roles in various professional organizations, including the Association for Library and Information Science Education (ALISE) and the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA). Dr Albright's research centers on how information and communication can address human challenges, with a particular focus on HIV/AIDS and domestic violence.

Dr Tereza Raquel Merlo is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), affiliated with the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (IBICT), and a Professor at the University of North Texas (UNT), where she teaches courses on Knowledge Management Tools and Technologies. She is also the CEO of Merlo Management Consulting, delivering global business solutions. She holds a PhD in Organizational Management with a minor in Information Technologies and two Master's degrees in Information Sciences from the Federal University of Bahia and UNT. She has received awards for leadership, project management, diversity and inclusion, and business development and earned prestigious scholarships, including CAPES and Fapesb scholarships. An active contributor to academic journals and conferences, she serves on editorial boards and the international advisory board of the International Conference on Knowledge Management (ICKM). Dr Merlo is the author and editor of influential books on Knowledge Management and AI, including the forthcoming AI-Driven Revolution: Transforming the Business Landscape.

Dr Naresh Kumar Agarwal is a Professor and Director of the Information Science and Technology Concentration at Simmons University's School of Library and Information Science. He earned his PhD in Information Systems from the National University of Singapore in 2010. In addition to his academic work, Dr Agarwal serves as the President of the Association for Information Science & Technology (ASIS&T). At Simmons University, Dr Agarwal's research focuses on information behavior, particularly how individuals seek information and the contextual factors influencing their choice of sources. He has authored several publications, including the book Exploring Context in Information Behavior: Seeker, Situation, Surroundings, and Shared Identities.
