About the Author Zhang Wenting is a Senior Research Fellow at the Research Institute of the People's Bank of China. She has a Ph.D. in Accounting and Finance from Durham University (UK) with the Best Doctoral Thesis Award. Dr. Zhang mainly researches international finance, inclusive finance, fintech, climate finance, and related policy suggestions. Dr. Zhang has compiled and translated many books, such as “Bank Credit Operation Management,” “China Community Bank Management,” “Artificial Financial Intelligence in China,” and translated Paul Volcker's autobiography “Keeping at It,” “Why Not Default,” and other works. Dr. Zhang participated in many domestic and international conferences and published dozens of academic papers or articles in top domestic and international journals, such as the International Review of Financial Analysis and China Finance.Zhao Dawei, Senior Research Fellow, Ph.D. in Economics, is currently Deputy Secretary General of the FinTech Research Centerat the Financial Research Institute of the People's Bank of China. He holds Bachelor, Master and Doctorate degrees of economics all from Central University of Finance and Economics. In 2009, funded by China Scholarship Council, as Visiting Scholar, he went to the State University of New York. After Dr. Zhao joined into the People's Bank of China Financial Research Institute in 2011, he has won the First Award of the “Youth Research Project 2019" of the People's Bank of China, the First Award of the "2017-2018 the PBC FinTech Research Project" by FinTech Committee of the People's Bank of China and the First Award of the "2018 FinTech Youth Thesis" by FinTech Research Center of National Institution for Finance & Development.
